Iran, Pakistan Foreign Ministers Hold Talks on Bilateral Relations and Ongoing Conflict
During the conversation, the two diplomats reviewed recent developments linked to the ongoing conflict, exchanging perspectives on its regional implications.
Araghchi commended Pakistan’s efforts and criticized what he described as actions by the United States and Israel over the past weeks, including attacks on Iran’s infrastructure, nuclear facilities, and civilian sites such as hospitals, schools, and residential areas. He underscored the need for a strong international reaction to what he characterized as serious violations of international law.
He further stated that Washington and Israel, as the parties he holds responsible for initiating the conflict, have contributed to instability in the region and beyond. Araghchi reiterated Iran’s resolve to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity using all available means.
For his part, Pakistan’s foreign minister highlighted Islamabad’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at halting the hostilities and promoting regional peace and stability. Ishaq Dar also stressed the importance of maintaining ongoing dialogue and coordination between the two countries.
