Russian Defense Ministry Satellites Successfully Deployed into Target Orbit
TEHRAN (ANA)- Russia’s Soyuz-2.1b rocket has successfully placed Defense Ministry satellites into their designated orbit, with stable communication and onboard systems reported to be functioning normally.
At 9:59 p.m. Moscow time (6:59 p.m. GMT) on February 5, a combat crew of the Russian Aerospace Forces’ Space Troops launched the Soyuz-2.1b medium-class carrier rocket from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk Region, according to TASS.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that both the launch and the insertion of the spacecraft into the target orbit proceeded “in regular mode.” The newly deployed satellites have been brought under the control of ground-based facilities of the Aerospace Forces.
Officials reported that stable telemetry communication has been established and maintained with the satellites, while all onboard systems are operating normally, ensuring the spacecraft are ready for their intended missions.
