Iran exports 50 Million barrels of oil in two weeks
Data shared by TankerTrackers on X indicate that Iran shipped around 50 million barrels of crude after the U.S.-imposed blockade was lifted, averaging approximately 1.66 million barrels per day in June 2026. The firm noted that export levels in several other regional producers remain below their pre-war output.
The increase in exports follows a memorandum of understanding signed by the United States and Iran on June 17. Under the agreement, the U.S. Treasury issued a 60-day authorization allowing the production and sale of Iranian crude through August 21.
Based on current oil prices, analysts estimate that the exports generated about $3.5 billion in revenue over the two-week period, equivalent to an average daily income of more than $233 million from crude sales.
Speaking in a televised interview, Iranian Parliament Speaker and chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said oil-related sanctions had effectively been lifted, adding that Iran is now selling its crude at prices around 20% higher than before.
