Millions gather in Najaf to bid farewell to Ayatollah Khamenei
(Tehran Ana)- Millions of Iraqis flooded the streets of Najaf on Wednesday to take part in the funeral procession of Iran’s martyred Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in one of the largest public gatherings held in the city.
Local media say millions of people from across Iraq, as well as pilgrims from other countries, have gathered in Najaf to participate in the procession.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and several of his family members were martyred in a US-Israeli terror attck in Tehran on February 28.
