IRGC reports strikes on U.S. sites in Bahrain, Oman

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said Monday that its naval forces targeted U.S. military facilities and infrastructure in the Juffair area of Bahrain, claiming the attacks caused extensive damage and sparked fires at the targeted locations.

In its fifth statement issued during the day, the IRGC also announced that it had destroyed a long-range FPS air surveillance radar and a vessel-tracking radar in the Sultanate of Oman as part of the same operation.

The statement further accused the United States of carrying out what it described as anti-human actions, alleging that recent U.S. strikes had hit an agricultural water pump in the Iranian city of Mahshahr.

The IRGC maintained that the only path to restoring maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz is the cessation of what it called U.S. military interference in the waterway, along with respect for the sovereignty of regional states over their territorial waters.

It also warned that continued American involvement in the area could trigger broader developments with significant consequences for the global oil and gas sector.
