Pezeshkian: Iran committed to expanding regional and Islamic cooperation
President Masoud Pezeshkian has stressed that Iran is committed to strengthening ties and broadening cooperation with Muslim nations and regional neighbours in all areas of engagement.
In a post shared on his X account on Friday, Pezeshkian referred to recent phone conversations with the prime ministers of Malaysia and Pakistan, held to extend Eid al-Adha greetings.
He underlined Iran’s continued commitment to diplomatic engagement during these exchanges, highlighting the importance of dialogue in regional relations.
The president also expressed appreciation for Malaysia’s humanitarian stance and praised Pakistan’s initiatives and efforts aimed at facilitating agreements and advancing cooperation.
Reiterating his main message, Pezeshkian said Iran’s policy remains firmly oriented toward expanding cooperation with Muslim and neighbouring countries in all fields, including political, economic, and regional collaboration.
