Baqaei Slams Washington’s “Contradictory” Peace Narrative Amid Nuclear Threats
(Tehran Ana)- Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei condemned Washington’s simultaneous calls for peace and threats of military action as “absurd.”
“It is a grotesque absurdity that they claim to seek peace and prevent a nuclear crisis, yet their proposed solution is “one big glow,” Baqaei wrote on his X account on Saturday.
He referred to Stanley Kubrick’s first self-produced film ‘Dr Strangelove or: How I learned to Stop Worrying and love the Bomb’ (1964) and called for it to be watched.
