Hezbollah intensifies strikes on Israeli positions amid ongoing escalation
Hezbollah’s Military Media issued since midnight 15 statements detailing strikes on Israeli targets across border and in occupied Palestinian territories.
Hezbollah military office said in a statement on Friday that the resistance fighters struck “a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers east of the Khiam detention center” in southern Lebanon with a missile.
Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers in the town of Mays al-Jabal with a rocket barrage, another statement said.
Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance fighters fired a salvo of rockets at Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona for the second time, the other statement also reported.
Sirens were sound in Galilee Panhandle, Israeli media reported following Hezbollah attacks. Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot reported settler displacement from Kiryat Shmona and nearby settlements due to ongoing shelling by Hezbollah.
Israeli media also reported power outages in Kiryat Shmona and Metula due to rocket fire from Lebanon. Sirens were sounded in Tel Aviv and Ashdod after missile fire from Lebanon, according to Israeli media.
The Hezbollah attacks come after savage attacks by Zionist regime on civilian areas in Lebanon despite the ceasefire between Iran and the US.
