Farhat explained that the Lebanese resistance has proven its ability to directly influence the course of the confrontation. He stated that Hezbollah managed to modify Israeli plans after inflicting consecutive losses on northern settlements and military sites, extending its reach to deep areas such as Jaffa.

He added that Hezbollah has contributed to creating a qualitative balance within the broader conflict linked to Iran, successfully repelling Israeli attacks—an indication of the group’s growing military and strategic capabilities.

Farhat pointed out that the Israeli army is facing clear operational confusion in confronting the Lebanese resistance, emphasizing that Hezbollah has distanced itself from U.S. pressure and directives aimed at pushing Lebanese authorities to disarm the group.

The analyst criticized the stance of the Lebanese government, describing it as passive and silent in the face of Israeli military actions over the past 15 months, and characterizing its policy as one of submission.

He further stressed that Israel has come to fully realize that Hezbollah has imposed a new deterrence equation in the north, noting that the Lebanese resistance remains strong on the ground and continues to prevent Israeli incursions, contrary to the expectations of Israeli leadership.

Farhat concluded by calling for a change in the current Lebanese government and a reassessment of political decision-making in line with ongoing developments.
