Iran Condemns Assassination of Hamas Qassam Brigades Commander

(Tehran Ana)- Iran has condemned the Israeli regime’s terrorist assassination of a senior Hamas commander, along with his wife and child, denouncing the cowardly strike as yet another desperate attempt by the apartheid entity to crush the unstoppable spirit of Palestinian resistance.

In an official statement, Tehran offered condolences and congratulations to Hamas leadership, the Palestinian people, Muslims worldwide, and all free people, hailing Haddad as a great mujahid martyred on the path of the Palestinian cause.

The statement described the assassination as part of Israel’s “criminal scheme for the colonial erasure of Palestine” and highlighted that the United States, as Israel’s largest military, financial, and political supporter, shares responsibility for these actions.

Iran emphasized that the targeting of Palestinian leaders reflects the Israeli regime’s desperation. Despite decades of mass killings and atrocities, the statement said, Israel has failed to eliminate the spirit of resistance among Palestinians, who remain determined to defend their rights, especially the right to self-determination.

“The physical elimination of resistance commanders and Palestinian elites will not disrupt the school and path of resistance, but will inspire followers and fighters to continue striving for Palestinian dignity and freedom,” the statement concluded.
