The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) complex in northern Tehran experienced two explosions early Tuesday, marking the second attack since Washington and Tel Aviv began their coordinated acts of aggression against Iran.

Peyman Jebeli, CEO of IRIB, confirmed the strike and emphasized that operations across various channels continued as normal despite the damage.

The broadcaster had also been targeted on Sunday evening, the second day of the current offensive. Observers note that Iranian state media has been a repeated target during past conflicts; in June 2025, when Israel initiated its first major military action against Iran—later joined by the U.S.—IRIB suffered a severe attack that resulted in the deaths of several journalists.

Analysts argue that repeated attacks on state media highlight the strategic focus on information and public perception in the broader U.S.–Israeli campaign, while Tehran continues to maintain the resilience of its communications infrastructure.
