Iran, Russia Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Ties and US-Israel Tensions in Phone Call
(Tehran Ana)- Iran’s and Russia’s foreign ministers held a phone call on Friday evening to discuss bilateral ties and rising tensions involving the US and Israel.
During the call, the two top diplomats exchanged views on the latest positions and initiatives put forward by the Islamic Republic of Iran aimed at ending what Tehran describes as a war of aggression involving the United States and the Israeli government. Both sides reviewed regional developments and emphasized ongoing diplomatic engagement between Tehran and Moscow.
According to the report, the United States and Israel launched an unprovoked attack on Iran on February 28, which reportedly resulted in casualties among senior military commanders and civilians, as well as other high-ranking figures.
