Hezbollah Enters War with Israel

In a statement, Hezbollah said it targeted an Israeli military base in Haifa to retaliate for the assassination of Ayatollah Khamenei. The group described its actions as defending Lebanon and its people against repeated Israeli attacks.

“The leadership of the resistance has always affirmed that continued Israeli aggression and the killing of our leaders and citizens gives us the right to respond at the right time and place,” the statement said. Hezbollah warned that Israel cannot sustain its fifteen-month-long campaign without facing retaliatory action aimed at stopping the aggression and withdrawing from occupied Lebanese territories.
